Guitar, Mysticism, and Unitive Moreness: A Conversation with Dr. Ilia Delio

I don’t know how one gets to be so lucky as to be acquainted with Ilia Delio, but today

and I got to chat with her. It’s probably the best start to a conversation I’ve ever had as the first thing out of the box was “So, I play guitar.” 😂 And then it just went up from there.

We were able to talk about mysticism, evolution, the distinctions between Whitehead and Teilhard, and also the distinctions between being and becoming, plus a the idea of contradiction, love, and a little phrase that I like: unitive moreness.

Ilia is substack-less; however, you can find here all over the internet, including at the Center for Christogenesis. Tori and I have both read a ton of her work and personally, well, let’s see, if I had to go with my favorite it might be The Unbearable Wholeness of Being. But all of them are great.

Peace everyone, have a great weekend,

Jonathan
